Lara Dutta became Miss Universe in 2000 and Priyanka Chopra wore the crown of Miss World. But do you know that both of them have competed against each other in Miss India beauty pageant? Not only this, Lara Dutta also helped Priyanka in this competition. She taught Priyanka how to do makeup, after which she started calling Lara mom.
Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta worked together in the film Andaaz. This film proved to be a hit. Their film was also liked a lot. Apart from this, both of them have worked together many times. Lara once told Priyanka about teaching her makeup.
Lara taught makeup
Lara Dutta once went to Simi Grewal’s show. Where she commented on Priyanka Chopra’s makeup. When Simi asked her about this, she said – the main focus was on winning the title, however, keeping the competition positive, I chose humanity. Lara further said – I think you keep your focus on what you want. For me, it was on winning Miss India and Miss Universe. My entire focus was there but you should not forget that you are also a human being. Achievement and failure without trying sounds strange but when you leave, nothing matters to you.
Lara further said- she got a chance to have a positive impact on the lives of others, which people don’t get often. Such moments define life for her. The former Miss Universe further said that if the actress cannot be there for others, then she is not really living and she doesn’t need anything.
Priyanka calls her mom
Priyanka Chopra once told in an interview that Lara taught her how to do makeup in a pageant. She took her to the bathroom and taught her how to do the right makeup according to her skin. After which she started calling her mom.
