PAK vs ENG Test Series 2024 Venue and Schedule: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Raza Naqvi has already made his stand clear that he wants to organize the Champions Trophy in his country at any cost. Due to the big tournament next year, the renovation of the three big grounds of the country is currently underway. This is the reason why board chief Naqvi is angry. The reason for his anger is that due to the construction work going on in the grounds, questions are being raised about the venue of the Pakistan vs England Test series.
Let us tell you that the England cricket team is going to tour Pakistan after a few weeks. The three-Test match series between the two countries will start from October 7. According to the schedule, these three matches are to be held in Multan, Karachi and Rawalpindi, but there is little hope of the grounds being ready in time. This is the reason why PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi is angry.
PCB chief got angry
Quoting PTI, a source said that Mohsin Naqvi has made it clear that organising the series against England at another place will tarnish the image of the PCB. He says that all three Test matches against England must be held in Rawalpindi and Karachi. It was also told that till now it has not been announced when the first match of the series will be held.
Recently it was reported that the Pakistan vs England series could be held in South Africa or UAE, but the PCB chief wants the series to be held in Pakistan at any cost. The source also said that one of the reasons for the chairman’s anger is that the more delay there is in scheduling the series, the more the board will have to suffer a loss in revenue.
