IPL Next Three Seasons Overseas Players: The dates of all the seasons of IPL from the year 2025-2027 have been revealed but it is yet to be officially confirmed. Meanwhile, a new update has come out that 7 countries including Australia-New Zealand have given their players free rein to participate in the next three seasons of the Indian Premier League. Let us also tell that the name of Pakistan is not there in these, whose players have not played in the Indian Premier League after 2008.
Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, South Africa, West Indies and Zimbabwe have given free rein to their players to play in the IPL for the next three seasons. Players playing for the England national team will also be seen playing in all the next three seasons. But there are still question marks over some Sri Lankan and Australian players. As far as Bangladesh team is concerned, Shakib Al Hasan has been confirmed to play all three seasons, but other players may remain available for some time.
Pakistan-Australia series will clash with IPL
It was revealed in a media report that IPL 2025 will start on March 14 and the final will be played on May 25. In the year 2026, 3 T20 and 3 ODI matches are to be played between Pakistan and Australia in the months of February-March. This series will be played immediately after the T20 World Cup 2026. A new update has also come out on this topic that the players who will be a part of T20 World Cup 2024 will be given rest from the Pakistan series and they will have complete freedom to play in IPL.
In the year 2027, Australia and England are going to play a special test match in Melbourne on the completion of 150 years of Test cricket. This match is to be played in March. It was told in the report that the players will be given rest from this match and will be allowed to play in IPL. This news has come at a time when BCCI had recently issued a rule that if any foreign player is not available for the auction or leaves the team before the start of the season, he will have to face a ban of 2 years.
