Gujarat Giants WPL 2025 Auction: The first bid in the Women’s Premier League 2025 was placed on West Indies all-rounder player Deandra Dottin. They were sold at many times more than the base price. Diandra was bought by Gujarat Giants for Rs 1.70 crore. Whereas his base price was Rs 50 lakh. Diandra’s performance so far has been excellent. She has performed well in international as well as domestic cricket. WPL’s second bid was on Daniel Gibson. She remained unsold in the first round.
Talking about West Indies all-rounder Dottin, UP Warriors made the first bid on him. After this Gujarat also joined the race. There was a long competition between these two franchises. But in the end Gujarat won. UP Warriors made the last bid of Rs 1.60 crore. Whereas Gujarat Giants bought Dottin by paying Rs 1.70 crore.

Dottin has seen explosive performance in the T20 format so far. She has scored 934 runs in 56 matches of the Women’s Big Bash League. Along with this, 41 wickets have also been taken. Dottin has also performed well in the Hundred Women’s Competition. Dottin has played 132 international matches for West Indies. During this period 2817 runs have been scored. He has scored 2 centuries and 12 half-centuries in this format. She has taken 67 wickets in 132 matches of this format.

England’s legendary player Gibson remained unsold in the first round. His base price was Rs 30 lakh. No one even bid on India’s experienced player Poonam Yadav. England’s Heather Knight and Sarah Glenn also remained unsold. No one even bid on West Indies all-rounder Henry.
