Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Recently, actress Vidya Balan, who was seen in the film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, had once expressed her desire to become ‘Junior Madhuri Dixit’. In an old interview, Vidya Balan had told how Madhuri’s role in ‘Tezaab’ left an unforgettable impression on her as a teenage girl. She admitted that like her, countless girls might have dreamed of becoming like Madhuri.
A video of Vidya Balan is going viral on social media. In which Vidya says- ‘I was in seventh class when I felt that I should become an actress. I don’t know whether it was right or wrong but I was very inspired by Madhuri Dixit’s performance in ‘Tezaab’.”
He said, “I think this film is so good that many people in the country would want to be like Madhuri. Although I could not become like him, but by the grace of God at least I got a chance to fulfill my dream of working in films.”
N. The film ‘Tezaab’ directed by Chandra made Madhuri Dixit an overnight star. Anil Kapoor was in the lead role with her in this action romance drama released in 1988.
Interestingly, Vidya Balan has recently shared the screen with Madhuri in Anees Bazmee’s horror-comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. In the film, Balan reprized his iconic role as the ghostly dancer Manjulika, while Madhuri played the role of Mandira. Mandira and Mallika are the reincarnations of Manjulika and Anjulika in the film.
‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is the third film of the franchise. Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starred in the original film released in 2007, while ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ featured Kartik Aryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ also stars Sanjay Mishra, Trupti Dimri and Rajpal Yadav. Released in theaters last week on November 1, the film clashed with Rohit Shetty’s police drama ‘Singham Again’ at the box office and received mixed reactions from the audience.
