For this, there is a plan to strongly launch its slogan ‘value stronger than steel’ with Titan’s ethnic wear brand Tanaira.
Preparation to increase market share to 10 percent in three years
Tata is preparing to increase the market share in ethnic wear brands from 2 percent to 10 percent in the next three years. Expanding its ethnic wear range to become the most preferred brand among women, the company will also offer pashmina stoles, dupattas, unstitched kurtas and lehengas. Tanaera CEO Ambuj Narayan said that saree will remain the mainstay of our brand. Through the remaining ethnic wear, we will provide women a new option in value clothing. At present Tanaera has a range of sarees available up to Rs 3 lakh. Most of the purchases of sarees take place during weddings and festival seasons. Therefore, the company has many plans to make these dates memorable.
Will open 15-20 new stores every year
Under the financial year 2024-25, the number of Tanaera stores will increase to 85. After that there is a plan to open 15-20 new stores every year. The number of stores is to be increased to 125 by the financial year 2027. An annual revenue target of Rs 1,000 crore has been set for this period.
