Sudha Murthy: Sudha Murty, wife of Rajya Sabha MP and Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, had special affection for the late Tata Trusts chairman Ratan Tata. Once he had asked for two gifts from Ratan Tata. Ratan Tata also gave both those gifts to him without any delay. Sudha Murthy loves both those things so much that even today they always remain in front of her eyes in her office.
Had asked for photo of Jamsetji Tata and JRD Tata
Actually, Sudha Murthy had asked Ratan Tata for photographs of Jamshedji Tata and JRD Tata. Ratan Tata provided him both these photographs after some time. Sudha Murthy said that no one can compensate for the loss caused by Ratan Tata’s departure from this world. There was a simplicity and honesty in him. He was a person who always thought about the welfare of others. During his tenure as the Chairman of Tata Sons, he did inspirational work for his companies, employees, society and the nation.
Sudha Murthy said- Never met anyone like Ratan Tata
Sudha Murthy said that she was impressed by his simplicity. There was a feeling of compassion inside him. When I met him, I found that he thought a lot about others. I will always remember him. I learned a lot from him. With his departure an era of Indian business came to an end. I have never met any man like him in my entire life. Integrity is most important in life, which not everyone has. His patience was worth learning. He was an ordinary man. I learned charitable works from him only. Sudha Murthy said that Ratan Tata’s departure is a personal loss for me.
