How was the market opening?
In today’s trade, BSE Sensex opened at the level of 80,563.42 and trading started with a fall of 185.29 points. In yesterday’s trading the Sensex closed at the level of 80,378.13. With this, NSE’s Nifty opened today at the level of 24,489.60 with a nominal gain of 5.55 points.
Bank Nifty started on the decline
Bank Nifty was initially trading at 52224.15 points today with a decline of 93.25 points or 0.18 percent. 10 minutes after the market opened, Bank Nifty had fallen by 104.60 points to the level of 52,212. Out of 12 shares of Bank Nifty, 5 stocks are trading on the rise and 7 stocks are trading with a red sign of weakness.
Update of Sensex shares
7 out of 30 Sensex stocks are showing a rise and 23 stocks are showing a decline. The rising stocks include Tata Steel and Tata Motors. The shares which are above include the names of Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Tata Motors, SBI, HCL Tech. Among the falling stocks, weakness is being seen in the shares of UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance.

Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 14 are showing a rise and 36 stocks are trading with a decline. Apollo Hospitals, Tata Steel, TCS, HCL Tech and Wipro are among the top gainers. The falling shares include the names of Hindalco, Adani Enterprises, Power Grid, BPCL and BEL.
