England Tour of India: Before the ICC Champions Trophy, Team India will play a series against England. The Indian team will play a series of ODI and T20 matches against England. It is believed that the Indian squad for the England series will be announced by January 12. After this series, India will leave for the Champions Trophy. There are speculations that the Indian team will not have many big names in the T0 series against England. Big names like Jasprit Bumrah are included in this list. Jasprit Bumrah may be out of both ODI and T20 series.
These players can be given rest
Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill can be rested. However, these players can be seen in Indian jersey in the Champions Trophy. Suryakumar Yadav can lead the Indian team against England. Also, return of Akshar Patel and Hardik Pandya is possible. Apart from these players, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson Tilak Verma, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakraborty, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Yash Dayal and Harshit Rana can be seen in the Indian team against England.
Let us tell you that the Indian team will play a series of 5 T20 and 3 ODI matches against England. This series is starting from 22nd January. India-England T20 series matches will be played in Kolkata, Chennai, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai. Whereas the ODI series is starting from 6th February. The ODI series matches will be played in Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad.
