Nitish Reddy Father Sacrifice: Nitish Reddy is now one of the most rising stars of the Indian team. Nitish, who has debuted for Team India in T20 and Test cricket, has proved to be effective not only with the bat but also with the ball. Now he has expressed the pain that he had to face in his journey of becoming a top cricketer of India. Actually, BCCI has shared a video, in which this young cricketer told how his father’s sacrifice encouraged him to move forward in cricket.
Saw papa crying…
Nitish Reddy tells that he did not take cricket seriously in his childhood, but his father has made a lot of sacrifices. He told, “For me, my father had left his job and there are many sacrifices hidden in my story. One day I saw him crying due to financial crisis, then I thought that on one hand my father was making sacrifices and on one hand I was giving up on cricket. “Can’t play just for fun. That’s when I started taking cricket seriously and the hard work finally paid off.”
‘I feel proud’
Nitish Kumar comes from a middle class family. Showing respect for his father’s sacrifice, he said, “My family belongs to the middle-class class. Seeing my father happy also makes me happy. When I showed him my Team India jersey and the joy on his face. I felt very proud when I saw it.”
Nitish Reddy’s dream of playing with his idol was fulfilled when Virat Kohli himself gave Nitish his Test debut cap on 22 November. Nitish played an inning of 41 runs at a time when the Indian team was struggling in the first innings of the Perth Test.
