Prices of these products increased by 15-20 percent
In Uttar Pradesh, where Noida falls, there has been a huge jump in the prices of fasting items like water chestnut flour, buckwheat flour and other products which have become costlier by 15-20 percent.

Prices of most commonly used products for fasting increased
Among the fasting items, the most used product for fasting is milk and changes are being seen in its prices. Its price is currently Rs 58.59 per liter and due to this you will have to spend more for different types of sweets, khoya etc. According to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, on October 1 last year, the price of milk was Rs 57.25 per liter. There has been a big jump in the rates of all these products and along with this the price of Makhana has increased by one and a half times.
Strong rise in the price of dry fruits
There has been a strong increase in the rates of walnuts, figs, almonds and cashews and an increase of Rs 150-200 has been seen in their rates as compared to earlier.
Tremendous rise in the prices of fruits
Along with the fasting items, fruits are also required, so you will have to spend more for this also. The prices of fruits like apple, grapes, pear, guava have also gone up to very high prices.
