Independence Day 2024: On the 78th Independence Day of India and the 77th anniversary of independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hoisted the Indian tricolor for the 11th consecutive time on the ramparts of the Red Fort. In his address on this occasion, he said that 140 crore Indians are working together to achieve the goal of becoming a developed India by the year 2047. This is a golden period for our country and there will be no better opportunity than this to achieve the goal of a developed India by 2047. If the policy and intentions are right, then the goal and resolution of nation building is fulfilled and the countrymen are full of energy. We should not let this opportunity go.
Strong banks make the economy strong- PM Modi
PM Modi said that the banking sector of the country is very strong today and banks have given loans in every sector. Whether farmers are getting loans for tractors, water farmers are getting loans for fish farming. Lakhs of street vendors are able to take loans from banks for their employment through Mudra loans or other loans. The reforms that took place in the banking sector were very necessary because the condition of banks was very bad and they were struggling with issues like loan default or lack of capital for years.
A new modern system is being created in every sector of the country, whether it is agriculture, banking, MSME, industry, space or retail. 9 lakh crore rupees have been given to women self-help groups through banks, which are providing economic support to the women of the country. Women are being made lakhpatis through the government scheme Lakhpati Didi and the lower class is being given employment and capital in the field of MSME.
On the economic front, the Indian economy is growing at the fastest pace- Narendra Modi
Praising the country on the economic front, the PM has said that the Indian economy has emerged as the fastest growing economy after the Covid period. The foreign exchange reserves have increased continuously and have doubled from before and the global dominance of Indian institutions has increased. Our CEOs are increasing the prestige of India across the world. The Government of India has changed the governance model and today gas, electricity, water and basic amenities are being delivered to every household, which has made it easier to walk on the path of development.
The middle class gives a lot to the country, our goal is to give them quality of life: PM Modi
Praising the middle class, PM Modi said that the middle class of the country gives a lot to the country and it is our dream to give them a quality life and the government is making efforts in this regard. PM Modi said that by the year 2047, the government’s interference in the life of the common man should be minimal and the government should help wherever needed – the government is moving in this direction. The government has abolished more than 1000 unnecessary laws and by abolishing them, an attempt has been made to make the life of the people easier.
