Life Certificate: It is mandatory for elderly pensioners retired from jobs in government institutions to submit their life certificate by 30th November. If they do not do so, their pension may be stopped. Super Senior Citizens i.e. those aged 80 years and above are allowed to submit their life certificate between 1st October to 30th November whereas for those below 80 years of age, the life certificate can be submitted between 1st to 30th November. Is. November 30 is the last date for elderly pensioners of both age groups, so if you have not yet submitted the life certificate, then do this immediately.

Know step-by-step information on making life certificate
- Download the PC/mobile application or visit your nearest Jeevan Praman Kendra (Life Certificate Centre) and get registered. For this, ‘AADFaceRD’ and ‘Jeevan Praman Face App’ can be installed from Google Play Store.
- Provide important information like Aadhaar number, pension payment order, bank account, bank name and your mobile number. Aadhaar number should be updated with the pension disbursing officer of the bank or post office.
- Provide your biometrics for Aadhaar authentication and authenticate yourself by giving finger print or iris.
- Provide Jeevan Pramaan ID to download your certificate in PDF from Jeevan Pramaan website.
- After successful authentication, SMS will be sent to your registered mobile number which will include your Jeevan Pramaan Certificate ID. This certificate will be stored in the Life Certificate Repository so that it can be accessed by the pensioner and the pension disbursing agency at any time.
- The pension disbursing agency can download and access the life certificate from the Jeevan Pramaan website.
- Life certificate can also be delivered through electronic delivery. For this, it can be sent directly to the pension disbursing agency and for this, e-delivery facility can be enabled with the Jeevan Pramaan website.
How to submit life certificate
You can submit the life certificate through Jeevan Praman portal, Doorstep Banking (DSB) agent or through biometric device in post offices. Apart from this, the work of submitting your life certificate can also be completed through physical life certificate form in the bank branch.
