Kamran Ghulam and Babar Azam: Kamran Ghulam has become a superstar player as soon as he joined the Pakistan team. Kamran made his international debut in the second Test match of the series against England and in the very first match he scored an inning of 118 runs. Since he was brought into the team in place of Babar Azam, who could score only 35 runs in the first test against England. Now the question is whether Pakistan management can fit Kamran and Babar in the same team, if yes, then how?
1. Aga Salman’s holiday
Agha Salman seems to be an ideal player of Test cricket. He has taken more than 1,000 runs and 16 wickets so far in his 15 Test career. His average in test matches is 47.65. This year he has scored 345 runs in 9 innings including 3 half-centuries and a century. Meanwhile, the priority of the Pakistan team is to strengthen the batting, so instead of dropping any batsman, the blame may fall on all-rounder Agha Salman. With his exclusion, Pakistan can fit both Kamran Ghulam and Babar Azam in the middle order.
2. Shan Masood should open again
Shan Masood made his Test debut in the year 2013 and started his career as an opener. As an opening batsman, he has scored 1,304 runs in 46 innings for Pakistan. If captain Shan Masood returns to the opening, then one of Abdullah Shafiq and Sam Ayyub may be out of action. Anyway, the opening pair of Ayub and Shafiq has failed to give a good start to Pakistan on most of the occasions.
3. Drop a bowler
As we told you that the priority of Pakistan team is to strengthen the batting. In such a situation, if the team wants both Kamran Ghulam and Babar Azam to blossom, then the option of dropping a bowler will also be open. In such a situation, the role of part-time bowlers will become important in the team. Talking about the current team, Kamran Ghulam himself bowls spin, Saud Shakeel and Sam Ayyub also bowl.
