Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024 Semi Final: The semi-final match of Women’s Asia Cup T20 2024 is being played between India and Bangladesh. Team India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, stopped Bangladesh at a score of 80 runs. During this, Renuka Singh and Radha Yadav bowled lethally. Both of them took 3-3 wickets. Captain Nigra Sultan scored the highest 32 runs for Bangladesh. Apart from them, no one could do anything special.
Bangladesh women’s team, who won the toss and batted first against India, could only score 80 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Dilara Akhtar and Murshida Khatun came to open for the team. During this, Murshida was out after scoring just 4 runs. While Akhtar returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs. Captain Nigra Sultan played an innings of 32 runs. Indian bowlers performed brilliantly. Radha Yadav took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs. She also bowled 1 maiden over. Renuka Singh took 3 wickets for 10 runs in 4 overs. She bowled 1 maiden over. Pooja Vastrakar took 1 wicket for 25 runs in 4 overs. Deepti Sharma took 1 wicket for 14 runs in 4 overs.
India won three consecutive matches before the semi-finals. Team India defeated Pakistan in the first match. Pakistan had to face defeat by 7 wickets. India defeated UAE by 78 runs in the second match. Team India defeated Nepal in the third match. Nepal had to face defeat by 82 runs.
The second semi-final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2024 will be played between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This match will be held on Friday evening. After this, the final match will be played on 28 July.
