Actually, the account from which the post has been made is a parody account. “Elon Musk – Parody” is written in front of this account. Let us tell you that in Elon Musk’s real X account, there is an ‘X’ sign in front of his name. Also, his handle is @elonmusk which is completely different from the parody account handle @meelonmuskusa.
A post had gone viral earlier also
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that Elon Musk has gone viral for talking about buying Facebook. Earlier also a similar post went viral in which rumors of Elon Musk buying Facebook were spread. According to USA Today, in December 2022 also a video of Elon Musk went viral in which he was seen saying that he would buy Facebook. However, that video has been deleted at the moment.
However, this video was also proved to be fake. That video was prepared by tampering with an app. Whereas the real video was from April 2022 in which TED Talks head Chris Anderson interviewed Elon Musk. Since then, this video was also proved to be fake. Elon Musk has not yet made any official announcement to buy Facebook or Meta.
