Babil Khan in depression: Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, is often in the news for some reason or the other. Many times he is also compared to his father. Now Babil Khan’s mother and Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar have spoken openly about this. He has said that Babil Khan has become a victim of depression due to comparison with his father.
In a recent interview given to Hindustan Times, Sutapa said- ‘There is a lot of pressure on Babil and I don’t like it! There should not be this pressure, Irfan never had that pressure and when you do not put any pressure on yourself, your personality comes to the fore. It’s not just about work, but also about losing a father figure, he’s almost depressed!’
‘Please leave my child…’
Sutapa further said- ‘There is tension and pressure all the time there (in Babylon). As a mother I feel please leave my child. He is very weak and has no feeling of fighting! His father was very strong and so was I, but the genes must have come from somewhere.
‘Abhishek Bachchan in I Want to Talk…’
Regarding comparison of Babil with Irrfan Khan, Sutapa said- Abhishek Bachchan did an amazing job in I Want to Talk but the same thing, comparison with the great Amitabh Bachchan works against him. I think Babil is also going through a similar ordeal. I just hope that he recovers from this soon.
Babil Khan’s workfront
Babil Khan made his Bollywood debut with the film Kaala. He has also appeared in films like Friday Night and The Railway Man. Now the actor will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s film The Umesh Chronicles. Amitabh Bachchan can also be seen with her in this film.
