Dravid said, “I think we assess talent wrong. What do we look for in the name of talent? And I also made the same mistake. We assess people’s talent by their ability to hit the cricket ball. Further, regarding Vinod Kambli, Dravid said, “I hate to say it, but Vinod was one of the best people I have met. Vinod had tremendous ability to hit the ball. I remember a match in Rajkot. Yes, Vinod scored 150 runs against Javagal Srinath and Anil Kumble.
Dravid further said, “Anil came to bowl and he hit it straight on the first ball. We were all shocked, it was brilliant. How do you do that?
