Paris Paralympics 2024 Day 3 Schedule 31 August: Friday was a great day for India at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. On Friday, Avani Lekhara won the gold medal in the 10m women’s air pistol event. Mona Agarwal won the bronze medal in the same event. Then Preeti Pal won the bronze in the track and field event. Finally Manish Narwal also won the bronze medal. Now today i.e. on Saturday, the country can get four more medals.
Today India’s medal tally may increase further. A total of 04 medals are expected in India’s account on the third day. On the second day India won medals in para shooting and athletics. Today gold is expected in para cycling along with para shooting.
However, to win a medal, Indian athletes will have to qualify for the medal round. Now it will be interesting to see how many medals India gets today.
Let us tell you that Avni Lekhara managed to win her second consecutive gold. She had earlier won gold at the Tokyo Paralympics. Avni won the gold medal in the 10m air rifle standing SH1 event in Paris. Mona Agarwal won the bronze medal in the same event. Manish Narwal won the silver medal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol (SH1) event and Preeti Pal won the bronze in the 100m race in the women’s T35 category.
