Actually, Vinesh Phogat missed out on winning a medal in Paris Olympics 2024. She had secured the silver medal. But just before the gold medal match, her weight was found to be 100 grams more. Vinesh was disqualified due to being overweight. After this, she also appealed for the medal. But the appeal was also rejected. Vinesh was badly broken after this matter. Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha had come to meet Vinesh. The photo of both of them was seen on social media.
Vinesh has now accused PT Usha. She gave an interview to a YouTube channel. Vinesh said, “When I was in the hospital, PT Usha ma’am came. She clicked a photo, but did not talk to me. I don’t know what support I got. Politics took place there too. There is politics everywhere. You clicked the photo without telling me and did all this just to show it to the world.”
Let us tell you that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have recently joined the Congress party. Vinesh will contest the elections. But Bajrang has not been given a ticket. Both of them came into the limelight after the protest at Jantar Mantar. Along with Vinesh and Bajrang, Sakshi Malik also made serious allegations against Brij Bhushan Singh.
