Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT D), one of the prestigious institutes of the country, has released the results of an exit survey conducted by the institute among the students graduating in August 2024. 2656 students were awarded degrees in the convocation ceremony held on 10 August 2024. This includes 481 PhD and Joint PhD, 113 MBA, 91 MS (Research), 25 MDes, 529 MTech, 24MPP, 129 Dual Degree (BTech + MTech), 1001 BTech, 51 PG Diploma, 212 MSc students.

Through this survey it was also revealed that last year there were many students who have either started further studies or are preparing for it. According to the exit survey, 359 (13.5 percent) IIT Delhi students responded that they were leaving for higher education, 47 (1.8 percent) PhD students reported that they were waiting for post-doctoral research opportunities or faculty positions. Are doing. Similarly, 321 (12.1 percent) students reported that they are appearing for various examinations such as civil services, engineering services and examinations required for government jobs.
