A big revelation has come to light in ManpowerGroup’s Employment Outlook Survey. 40 percent of the corporate world leaders who participated in the survey have said that they will increase the number of employees in their companies in the next three months i.e. from January to March. During this period, the employment scenario in India is expected to be the strongest globally. Overall, the youth will get a lot of opportunities from January to March.
India took the path of economic development
More than 3,000 companies from different sectors of the country were included in this survey. According to the survey report released on Tuesday, 53 percent of the companies plan to increase the number of employees, while only 13 percent of the employers expressed fear of reducing the number of employees in the first quarter of 2025.
Whereas 31 percent companies are not expecting any change. Inflation in the country is also expected to potentially reduce this year, which will lead to consumers spending more and economic development of the country. Not only this, agricultural production is also expected to improve due to favorable monsoon conditions next year.
India is emerging as a global leader
Sandeep Gulati, Managing Director, India and West Asia, ManpowerGroup, said, India is one of the fastest growing large economies in the world and its position as a global leader in the first quarter employment outlook to 2025 is a testament to the confidence of employers in the country’s economic progress. Maximum 40 percent employment is estimated to be generated in India. After this, America with 34 percent, Mexico with 32 percent are in second and third place respectively. In terms of employment outlook, the forecast for Argentina was the worst -1 percent. Whereas the global average was estimated at 25 percent.
Women working shoulder to shoulder with men
The survey also revealed gender equality in workplaces. About 30 percent of companies say that they have already achieved the goal of gender equality in their organization, whereas a year ago this figure was 21 percent.
