Sai Kishore On Test Challenge: Tamil Nadu star spinner Sai Kishore said that he feels that he is one of the best spinners in India. Apart from this, he demanded from BCCI to give him a chance to play Test cricket. Kishore said this before the Test series to be played between India and Bangladesh. Apart from this, the spinner said that the experience of playing Test cricket with Ravindra Jadeja will be different.
Let us tell you that Sai Kishore will be seen playing in the Duleep Trophy 2024, which is starting from September 5. He is part of Team-B of the Duleep Trophy, which will be captained by Abhimanyu Easwaran.
Speaking with ‘Indian Express’, Sai Kishore claimed that he is one of the best spinners in the country.
The Tamil Nadu spinner said, “I think I am one of the best spinners in the country. Put me in a Test match, I am ready. I am not too worried.”
He further said, “There is also Jadeja, I have never played with him in the red ball format. So, it will be a good learning experience in terms of what he does.”
He is a part of Gujarat Titans in IPL
Gujarat Titans bought Sai Kishore for Rs 3 crore in the 2022 mega auction. Earlier, he was a part of Chennai Super Kings. Sai has played 10 IPL matches so far, in which he has taken 13 wickets while bowling. During this, he conceded runs at an economy of 8.32.
Has played T20 International for India
It is worth noting that Sai Kishore has played 3 T20 International matches for India so far. While bowling in 3 innings of these matches, he has taken 4 wickets at an average of 15.75. During this, his economy was 5.25. Now it will be interesting to see whether he gets a place in the Test team or not.
