In severe cases, it has a bad effect on the heart, brain and blood cells. Syphilis in any of its stages can badly affect the nervous system as well as the eyes and ears.

What are the symptoms of syphilis
Symptoms of syphilis include fever, skin rashes, weight loss, hair fall, sore throat, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, swollen lymph nodes, etc. If a pregnant woman is infected with syphilis, then this virus also makes her unborn child its victim. In such a case, there are chances of premature birth of the child, death during birth, low birth weight.

Scary symptoms seen in children
Red rashes are seen on the body of such children. After some time, the hearing ability of infected children starts decreasing and the eyes start swelling. Doctors say that syphilis is a long-term developing virus which proves fatal in its last stage. If its initial symptoms are identified and treated in time, then the person can be cured.
