Shubhman Gill Injury Update IND vs AUS: A practice match was played before the start of Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024, in which Shubman Gill suffered a thumb injury. Due to this injury he could not play the first test of the series. Now good news is coming that he will be seen practicing with Team India before the India vs Prime Minister’s XI match. This will be the first time that Gill will take the field for the first time after the simulation match, but there are still question marks over his playing in the second test.
According to a report by Rev Sport, Shubman Gill is going to practice before India vs Prime Minister’s XI to be held in Canberra. Recall that he was replaced by Devdutt Padikkal in the Perth Test match, in whose two innings he was out after scoring zero and 25 runs. Talking about Gill, earlier there was speculation that he might have to spend at least two weeks out of the field due to a thumb injury. But before the start of the first Test, Team India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel had indicated that Gill can play the first Test as well. Gill could not play the first match, but Morkel definitely indicated that this star batsman of India is recovering rapidly.
