Shardul Thakur Hospital: Indian cricket team’s star pace bowling all-round Shardul Thakur is currently playing for Mumbai in the Irani Cup 2024. Shardul came out to bat on the second day in the Irani Cup match being played in Lucknow. According to reports, Shardul was admitted to the hospital soon after the end of the second day.
According to the report of Indian Express, Shardul had high fever, due to which he had to be taken to the local hospital in Lucknow. It was also mentioned in the report that Shardul had mild fever on the first day of the match, which increased significantly on the second day. However, despite this, Shardul came on the field to bat and also played an inning of 36 runs.
The Indian Express report quoted a source as saying, “He was not feeling well the whole day and had high fever, due to which he came late to bat. He was feeling weak and had to take medicine.” Later he slept in the dressing room. But despite his weakness, we have got his blood test done for malaria and dengue and are now waiting for the reports.

Let us tell you that Shardul is a player who plays all three formats for Team India. So far he has played 11 Tests, 47 ODIs and 25 T20 International matches. In the Test, he took 31 wickets while bowling and scored 331 runs while batting. Apart from this, Shardul took 65 wickets in ODI and scored 329 runs in batting. In the remaining T20 International, he has taken 33 wickets and scored 69 runs in batting. He played his last match for Team India in the form of a Test against South Africa in December 2022.
