India vs Australia 2nd Test: The second match of the five-match Test series will be played between India and Australia from 6 December. Earlier, in the first Test match played in Perth, the Indian team defeated Australia by 295 runs, whereas in the first innings, Team India was bundled out for only 150 runs. Still the Indian team won the match easily. After this there were reports that there was tension in the dressing room of the Australian team. Now before the Adelaide Test, wicketkeeper Alex Carey has talked about this.
Alex Carey said that his team is united and he is confident that his batsmen will come out with a better strategy to face the Jasprit Bumrah-led Indian attack in the Pink Ball Test match to be played in Adelaide from December 6.
Alex Carey said while talking to journalists, he (Bumrah) is definitely a great bowler. He has been performing well continuously for the last several years. Our batsmen are also world class and always find ways to find solutions. We have assessed his bowling. Hopefully we will be successful in facing his first second spell. We saw in the second innings of the first Test match how Travis Head counter-attacked.
Carey further said, we have full confidence in our batsmen. We will find a way to face not only Bumrah but also his other bowlers. India entered the first test match with some new bowlers and they also bowled well.
After Australia set an impossible target of 534 runs to win, Josh Hazlewood asked the media to ask his batsmen what strategy they had made for the second innings. After this, rumors of rift between the batsmen and bowlers spread. However, Carey rejected rumors that there was any kind of tension in Australia’s dressing room.
