Saif Ali Khan On Choosing Bollywood Over Cricket: ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2’ launched on Netflix last week and has already created quite a stir. Last Saturday, the star-studded team of ‘Devra Part 1’ arrived on the show, which included Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. During this, the three stars made many revelations about their experiences and their acting career. Saif Ali Khan told why he chose acting instead of cricket?
Why did Saif choose acting as his profession instead of cricket?,
During the show, Kapil Sharma had asked Saif Ali Khan that you had two options, your father was a cricketer and mother is a legendary actress. Then why did you choose acting? On this, Saif Ali Khan revealed that cricket was never mentally good for him. Saif said, “People used to say that I have inherited acting from my mother. He came genetically from the Tagore family. I did not have the mental focus that was needed in cricket, so cricket was not that good for me. I think I have chosen the right profession. I enjoy acting.
Why did Junior NTR choose acting?,
Junior NTR also talked about his passion for acting. He told that he had always imagined himself in front of the camera. Junior NTR said, “I was 17 years old when my first film was released. I always wanted to be an actor, so I couldn’t see any other option. I am meeting a lot of people, which is leading to a wonderful exchange of talent and it gives me great pleasure when people sit back and enjoy your acting. I am happy being an actor. I think I have chosen wisely.
‘Devra’ has made huge profits across the world.
Talking about ‘Devra’, this film has been released on 27th September. This action thriller has received mixed reviews yet it is performing well at the box office. Devra Part 1 has earned more than Rs 170 crore in the domestic market. The film has collected more than Rs 300 crore worldwide. With the film, Junior NTR has made a comeback on the big screen as a solo hero after six years. Junior NTR has played the double role of father and son in Devra. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of main villain Bhaira in the film.
