Esha Verma Slams Rupali Ganguly: Recently, her step daughter Isha Verma had made serious allegations against Anupama fame actress Rupali Ganguly. After this Rupali had sent a defamation notice of Rs 50 crore against Isha. Now his step daughter Isha is angry at him regarding this. Isha issued a last statement on her Instagram story and called Rupali Ganguly ‘brutal’.
Isha Verma wrote on Instagram- ‘Hello, I am Isha Verma and at the beginning of this month I took the difficult decision to share my personal story related to my father and my growing up experience. This decision attracted social media and public attention. Speaking was the hardest thing I have ever done, but it also became a turning point in my life. This brought clarity, peace and freedom from years of silence.
‘I never intended to cause any harm’
Isha further wrote- ‘I was mindful of how it would impact not only me but also my friends and close ones and I handled it very carefully. For 24 years, I felt like I was trapped in a reality from which I could not escape. Sharing my experiences was my way of achieving freedom and justice. My intention was never to cause harm but to shed light on the experiences that shaped me.
‘Shows the cruel people and their true character…’
Along with Rupali Ganguly, Isha also surrounded her father Ashwin. He wrote- ‘For making an important point, a child should not be punished for speaking the truth. Despite being an adult, I am still my father’s child. His reaction to my statement was disturbing, cruel and showed his true character.
Isha has no connection with Bollywood
Isha further told that once during a photoshoot in Mumbai, she had to face a lot regarding her looks. He wrote- ‘I have no professional relation with Bollywood or the Indian entertainment industry, nor have I participated in auditions or professional photoshoots in India. In 2017, at a photoshoot in Mumbai, comments were made by someone about my presence. Which I have mentioned in my story. Those comments had a deep impact on my self-esteem as an adult, but I have worked hard to recreate that experience and move on.
Said this on deactivating social media
He wrote- ‘After posting my last statement, which was based on my personal experience, I decided to collect it after 48 hours and de-activate some platforms. This was not out of fear, but because I felt I had said everything I needed to and I wanted to secure my peace.
‘This will be my last statement on this matter’
Isha told that this is her last statement on this matter. He wrote- ‘This will be my last statement on this matter. The purpose of this statement is solely to clear up my story and any misconceptions related to it. Its purpose is not to instigate further back and forth. I will not participate in any further interviews, discussions or comments on this matter. My focus now is on treatment, reconstruction and embracing the next chapter of my life.
