Ind vs Ban 1st Test: Ravichandran Ashwin performed brilliantly for Team India and scored a century in Chennai. The first test match of the series is being played between India and Bangladesh. After Ashwin’s century, everyone including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill applauded him. Gill, Kohli and Rohit could not do anything special in the first innings of this match. But Ashwin did the feat. Ravindra Jadeja has also performed well.
By the end of the first day’s play, Ashwin faced 112 balls and scored an unbeaten 102 runs. Ashwin’s innings included 10 fours and 2 sixes. Ashwin scored the sixth century of his Test career. After Ashwin’s century, the atmosphere in Team India’s dressing room looked very happy. After his century, head coach Gautam Gambhir and everyone applauded. Ashwin did the feat that Kohli and Rohit could not do. Kohli and Rohit could not score a century in this match. But Ashwin did it.
By the end of the first day’s play, India had scored 339 runs with the loss of 6 wickets in the first innings. Jadeja and Ashwin are still unbeaten for Team India. So this match is going to be tough for Bangladesh. They had started well. But Jadeja and Ashwin spoiled the whole game.
Yashasvi scored 56 runs in the first innings for Team India. He faced 118 balls and hit 9 fours. KL Rahul was dismissed after scoring 16 runs. Rishabh Pant scored 39 runs. He faced 52 balls and hit 6 fours. Rohit was dismissed after scoring 6 runs. Virat was also dismissed after scoring 6 runs. While Gill could not even open his account.
