International Media On Death of Ratan Tata: The country’s veteran industrialist Ratan Tata died late night on Wednesday (October 9) in a hospital in Mumbai. The chairman of Tata Group was 86 years old. Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran confirmed Ratan Tata’s death in a statement and described him as his ‘friend and mentor’. For the last few days, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai.
Billionaire Harsh Goenka also expressed grief over the demise of Ratan Tata and made a post on ‘X’ calling him a “Titan” (a very important person). After the death of Ratan Tata, not only the Indian media but also the foreign media have prominently published the news related to his death. He was a world famous man. People all over the world knew him because of his works.
Regarding Ratan Tata, New York Times writes that Ratan Tata, one of India’s most powerful and admired stalwarts, passed away. He transformed the Tata Group into a globally recognized brand. During his 21 years as Chairman and Chief Executive from 1991 to 2012, Tata Group profits increased 50 times. The biggest contribution to this came from the sale of famous Tata products like Jaguar, Land Rover and Tetley Tea, which are in huge demand abroad.

He wrote that Tata had studied for the degree of architect at Cornell University. After this he returned to India.
