Rahul Bose On Rape Scene In Bulbbul: ‘Bulbul’ was a horror-thriller in which actress Tripti Dimri and Rahul Bose were seen together. In the film, Rahul Bose played the role of twin brothers Thakur Indranil Chaudhary and Mahendra Chaudhary. Recently the actor talked about filming the rape scene of ‘Bulbul’.
Rahul Bose told that he tried to make co-actress Tripti Dimri feel comfortable during the shooting. In a recent interview to Siddharth Kannan, Rahul said- ‘Tripti Dimri was amazing. There was a scene of a twin brother who rapes her and kills her and then she dies on the bed. It is horrific.’
‘Once the camera says action I will turn into a beast…’
The Bulbul actor said, “We were rehearsing and then we sat down and had a chat. I told her your safe word is Rahul, whether you have been assaulted or not, it is triggering. Everyone has this fear, one day it can happen to me too. If you ever feel unsafe on this bed, because once the camera says action, I will turn into a beast. If this triggers you, I will say, one second Rahul.”
The film is based on Bengal Presidency
Let us tell you that the horror-thriller ‘Bulbul’ was released on the OTT platform Netflix in the year 2020. This film is based on the Bengal Presidency of the 1880s. Directed by Anvita Dutt, ‘Bulbul’ revolves around a young bride who matures and becomes a mysterious woman. Avinash Tiwari, Paoli Dam and Parambrata Chattopadhyay are also seen playing important roles in the film.
