Semiconductor Industry: Prime Minister Narendra Modi organized a semiconductor roundtable on Tuesday. During this, PM Modi met the giants of this sector. He said that semiconductors are the basis of the digital age. Democracy and technology should work together for the benefit of humanity. India has all the capabilities to become a powerful country in the semiconductor sector. By making maximum number of semiconductors in India, we will not only fulfill our needs but will also supply them to the world. The Prime Minister assured everyone that we will help all of you by improving the policies.
The semiconductor industry has full confidence in the government
In this meeting organized by PM Modi, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and top officials of many semiconductor companies attended. He said that this meeting shows how excited the central government is about moving this sector forward. The focus of the semiconductor industry of the whole world is now on India. This is a great opportunity for us. India’s semiconductor industry also has full faith in the government. Many global companies also want to invest in us now. Such opportunities were never available in India before today.
PM said- we will have to capitalize on new ideas
Prime Minister Modi chaired this roundtable at his residence 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. PM Modi said that your ideas will not only take business forward but will also show direction to India’s future. Going forward, semiconductors will become the basis of every need. India is now moving in such a direction that it has to take responsibility of the whole world. We have to take India forward in every field like social, digital and infrastructure. We will have to invest capital on new ideas. There is no dearth of talent in India. The government is engaged in making them capable of the industry through skill development.
