Thomas Ceccon Sleeps at Olympic Village Park: Apart from the organisation of the games, Paris Olympics 2024 is also making headlines for its poor management. First the issue of the Seine River, then the scorching heat, then the ‘anti-sex’ beds in the rooms of the Olympic Village, all these things are being repeatedly brought up by the athletes. But the latest case that has come to light now is quite shocking. The gold medalist of Olympics 2024 was found sleeping in the park, fed up with the rooms of the Olympic Village. This gold medalist athlete is Italian swimmer Thomas Sacon.
Gold medalist Thomas Sekon forced to sleep in the park
Olympic gold medalist Thomas Ceccon was so upset with the poor conditions of the Paris Olympic Village that he was seen sleeping in a park! Yes, you read it right. Saudi Arabian rower Hussein Alireza shared a photo of Ceccon sleeping on a towel under a tree in a park.
In fact, Sacon, who won gold in the men’s 100m backstroke, expressed great displeasure over the living conditions in the Olympic Village. Apart from this, Thomas Sacon also complained about it publicly. He said that many athletes are troubled because of this. He says that he is not able to sleep due to the heat and noise.

Apart from Thomas Sacon, other athletes have also complained
Thomas Sacon is not the only athlete who has complained about the living conditions. Earlier, Coco Gauff, Ariane Titmus and Asiya Touati had also raised questions about the facilities of the village. Australian swimmer Titmus says that if she had lived in a better place, she would have probably broken the world record. She believes that the Olympic Village is not at all suitable for high performance.
