According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a big update has been received from a source regarding ‘Panchayat 4’. Quoting a source on the portal, it is written, “The fourth season of Panchayat is all set to go on the floors on October 25. It will feature all the famous characters of the show – Abhishek Tripathi aka Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar), Brij Bhushan Dubey. aka Pradhan Pati (Raghubir Yadav), Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), Prahlad (Faisal Malik), Vikas Shukla (Chandan Roy), Rinki (Sanvika), Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar), Binod (Ashok Pathak) and Kranti Devi ( Sunita Rajwar) will return to the series. Pankaj Jha, who played the role of MLA, will also be seen in the fourth season. Apart from this, Swanand Kirkire, who played the role of MP in a scene in season 3, is expected to play an important role this time.
The report further quoted the source as saying, “The makers know that people have huge expectations from the Panchayat series. This is a rare web show that is perfect for the entire family and hence finds viewers of all ages. All the seasons so far have been good and the makers have worked hard on the script of Season 4 to ensure that the fans love it.”
When will ‘Panchayat 4’ be released?
Fans are also becoming very impatient to know when ‘Panchayat 4’ will be released. Several earlier reports had claimed that ‘Panchayat 4’ is expected to premiere on Prime Video in 2026. With the shooting of the show starting in October 2024, it now looks like it may release in early 2026. However, the makers have not announced anything about it yet.
The first season of ‘Panchayat’ came in 2020
The first season of ‘Panchayat’ premiered in April 2020. Season 1, consisting of eight episodes, became an instant hit as soon as it arrived on Prime Video and received an overwhelming response. After this the second season came in May 2022. And season 3 came in the year 2023, both these seasons also got a lot of love from the audience. The story of the series is of a fictional Phulera village.
