Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province, has already promised to give 10 crore Pakistani rupees to Nadeem. Now she has announced to gift a Honda Civic car to Olympic 2024 gold medalist Nadeem.
Recently, a welcome ceremony was held for Arshad Nadeem, in which he was handed over the keys of a Honda Civic car. This car is very special because its number will not be like other cars but ‘PAK-9297’. This is because Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in javelin throw by throwing the javelin 92.97 meters away. Now, in honor of the same, the number of his car has also been kept the same. Let us tell you that the price of Honda Civic car in Pakistan starts from 86 lakhs.
The coach also received a cheque of Rs 50 lakh
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated Nadeem’s mother, Razia Parveen, and had a long conversation with her. The Chief Minister also went inside Nadeem’s house where she was welcomed and also took pictures with the family. Meanwhile, Nawaz wrote a cheque of 50 lakh Pakistani rupees for Nadeem’s coach Salman Iqbal Butt and also praised him a lot.
Nawaz said that Arshad Nadeem has created an atmosphere of happiness in the whole of Pakistan. The Olympic star’s family said that the Chief Minister’s visit was an honour. Many other ministers were also present at Arshad Nadeem’s house along with the Chief Minister, including Pakistan government’s Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar. Let us tell you that earlier, a total prize money of Rs 15 crore in Indian currency has been announced for Nadeem.
