Ola Electric Mobility Share Price: Electric two-wheeler company Ola is not showing any signs of ending the problems of electric mobility. After the notice from CCPA (Central Consumer Protection Authority), now the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways can also investigate the complaints filed against Ola Electric. Following consumer complaints, the ministry may start its action this week and ask the company to submit a report.
According to the report of Business Today, in view of the concerns and complaints received against Ola Electric regarding services, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has also decided to intervene in the matter related to services and seek a report from the company. Earlier, due to complaints of more than 10,000 customers against the company, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has sent a notice.
The CCPA notice states that the company has violated sections of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. This includes poor service, wrong advertising, unfair trade practices and violation of consumer rights. The company has to respond to the CCPA notice within 15 days. 10,644 complaints have been received against the company on the National Consumer Helpline of the Department of Consumer Affairs in the last one year. In all these, complaints have been lodged regarding poor services of Ola scooters.
Ola Electric’s problems are increasing. On one hand there are complaints from consumers and on the other hand the company’s share in the sales of electric vehicles is continuously decreasing month by month. Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors are rapidly capturing the market share of Ola Electric. Apart from this, the company is also in the news due to the war of words on social media between the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal and comedian Kunal Kamra.
It is a matter of relief for Ola Electric that despite all these things, the company’s stock closed with a rise of 5.05 percent in Tuesday’s trading session. After the opening of the stock market in the morning, it had slipped till Rs 86 but recovery was seen in the stock from the lower level and the stock closed with a great jump.
