MS Dhoni: Former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni’s way of thinking and teaching his fellow cricketers is quite different. Now Tushar Deshpande, who made his debut for India some time ago, has revealed a funny anecdote related to Dhoni. Actually, during a training camp before the 2023 IPL season, Dhoni hit a 100-meter long six on Deshpande’s ball. ‘Thala’ was very angry about this.
Let us remind you that Tushar Deshpande joined CSK in the year 2022, but he played the entire season for the first time in 2023. Deshpande had a very bad start in the 2023 IPL season as his bowling figure in the match against Gujarat Giants was 51 runs in 3.2 overs and he was able to take only one wicket. But despite this poor performance, the then captain of CSK, Dhoni, supported him.

After the thrashing in the match against Gujarat, Tushar Deshpande said that Dhoni came to him and said, ‘You have not made any mistake, all your balls were good. The thing is that today was not your day. Bowl like this in the next match.’
After that Dhoni batted on Deshpande’s bowling in the nets. Recalling that session, young bowler Tushar said, “I was bowling a good yorker ball, but suddenly I bowled a bouncer on which Dhoni hit a 100 meter long six. He asked me, ‘Why did you bowl a bouncer?’ I thought he must have been expecting a yorker. On this answer, he told me not to play cricket only in your mind. Bowl a yorker, no one will be able to hit your ball. Apart from this, he also asked me to work on my fitness.”
