Australia vs Pakistan 2nd ODI: Pakistan defeated Australia by 9 wickets in the second match of the ODI series. This match was played in Adelaide on Friday. An interesting scene was seen in a match between Pakistan and Australia. Mohammad Rizwan asked Adam Zampa for DRS during Australia’s innings. He took DRS following Zampa’s advice and he lost. Its video has also been shared on social media.
Actually the Australian team came on the field to bat first. Zampa came to bat for him at number 10. During this time, Naseem Shah was bowling the 34th over for Pakistan. Rizwan appealed on the fourth ball of his over. But the umpire did not give any signal. Rizwan then asked Zampa whether DRS should be taken or not. Zampa said, ‘Must definitely take it.’
Rizwan took DRS and suffered loss –
When Rizwan took DRS, the ball was slightly above the bat. She did not leave after being touched by the bat. Hence Adam Zampa was declared not out. In this way a DRS of Pakistan went in vain.
Pakistan registered a spectacular victory –
Batting first, Australia had set a target of 164 runs. The team was all out in 35 overs. Steve Smith scored the maximum 35 runs for him. In response, Pakistan achieved the target in 26.3 overs by losing just 1 wicket. Sam Ayub played a brilliant inning of 82 runs. Abdullah Shafiq remained unbeaten after scoring 64 runs. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. Babar Azam remained unbeaten after scoring 15 runs. In this way Pakistan won the match by 9 wickets.
Australia won the first match of the series –
A three-match ODI series is being played between Australia and Pakistan. Australia won its first match by 2 wickets. Pakistan won the second match. Now the third and last match of the series will be played in Perth on Sunday. This will be a decisive match.
