Youtube Cyber Fraud: A large number of fraud cases are coming to light on famous platforms like WhatsApp and YouTube. Recently, an incident of fraud worth lakhs of rupees has come to light in the name of liking YouTube videos. Promises of part-time jobs are being made in exchange for liking videos on social media platforms and hackers fulfill their purpose. According to reports, hackers defrauded a shopkeeper of more than Rs 56 lakh in the hope of earning easy money.
Actually, initially the shopkeeper got small payments of Rs 123 and Rs 492 for some work on YouTube. After this, the shopkeeper, happy with the return, was implicated in the fraud. He was added to a Telegram group, where he was asked to deposit money by luring him with a commission. The shopkeeper could not understand this fraud and the victim invested Rs 56.7 lakh. But after this the scammers stopped contacting him and this fraud came to light.
