Kvs admission 2025: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the official notification of the admission process in Class 1 and Balwatika for the academic session 2025-26. The online application process will start from 7 March 2025, and interested parents can apply their children by 21 March 2025. Applications for class 1 will be available at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in and Balvatika.Kvs.gov.in for Balvatika 1 and 3.

KVS Admission 2025: Important dates

• Registration for class 1 and Balawatika 1, 3: 7 March 2025 (10 am)
• Last date of registration: 21 March 2025
• First selection list of class 1: 25 March 2025
• First selection list of Balawatika: 26 March 2025
• Second Selection List: 2 April 2025
• Third selection list: 7 April 2025
• Offline application for Balawatika-2 and above class 2 (except 11th): 2 to 11 April 2025
• First provisional list of these classes: 17 April 2025
• Admission process for Balawatika-2 and above class 2: 30 June 2025
• Admission in class 11: Offline application will be made from 2 to 11 April 2025 based on the availability of seats.

Age limit

Class 1: 6 years (till 31 March 2025)

• Balawatika-1: 3 to 4 years
• Balawatika-2: 4 to 5 years
• Balawatika-3: 5 to 6 years

Admission to classes 2 and above

Apart from class 1, admission in classes will depend on the availability of seats. Offline application can be made from 2 to 11 April 2025. Parents will have to submit the application form to the principal office of the concerned Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Required documents

• Child birth certificate (will be returned after verification)
• SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applied)
• Address proof
• Service Certificate (If parents are government employees, transfer details of the last 7 years)
• 2 passport size photo of baby

How to apply?

1. Go to kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in for class 1.
2. Go to balvatika.kvs.gov.in for Balawatika-1 and 3.
3. Register and fill the information sought.
4. Fill the application form carefully and upload the required documents.
5. After submitting the form, download the confirmation page.
