India’s defense exports have touched a record of Rs 21,083 crore (about $ 2.63 billion) in the financial year 2023-24, which is 32.5% more than Rs 15,920 crore in the last financial year. Significantly, in the last decade, defense exports have increased 31 times. At the same time, the total value of defense production in India has also increased by 17% to Rs 1,26,887 crore in the last financial year.
