KL Rahul On Coffee With Karan Controversy: Indian cricket team’s experienced and star wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul broke his silence on a 5-year-old matter. About 5 years ago KL Rahul and Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya had come on Bollywood’s famous director Karan Johar’s show ‘Koffee with Karan’. On this show, Rahul and Hardik talked about women, which the public did not like at all. After this show, Rahul and Hardik had to face many difficulties, on which KL Rahul has now spoken.
While talking to Kamath in a podcast, Rahul said that after this incident, he got such a punishment which he never got even in school. In fact, after this show, Rahul and Hardik were suspended before the ODI series against Australia.
Speaking on the podcast, the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman said, “This interview was a different world. It changed me completely. I was very shy and soft-spoken since childhood. Playing for Team India increased my confidence. I did not have any problems with people.”
Rahul further said, “That interview scared me a lot and now I don’t do that. Being suspended from the team, I was never suspended from school. I never got any such punishment in school, all this never happened to me. I did not know how to deal with it.”
The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman further said, “I have done small pranks in school, but never did anything that would get me expelled from school or my parents would have to come there. That was my first prank and you realise that it was wrong and bad.”
