Actually Rahul had written on Instagram that he is going to make an announcement, but he did not reveal anything about what the announcement will be. After that another picture goes viral, in which it was written that KL Rahul has decided to retire from cricket after much thought. Now Rahul has shared another story on Instagram.
KL Rahul wrote in his new Instagram story, “Our auction was successful and with the money collected we will continue to improve the lives of children. I want to thank all those people associated with the cricket world who have supported us. Heartfelt gratitude to all the people who donated.” Let us tell you that KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty, along with Vipla Foundation, have raised a fund of Rs 1.93 crore for needy children. In the auction organized by them, many things from Virat Kohli to Rohit Sharma were put up for auction.

Is KL Rahul taking retirement?
KL Rahul has not made any formal statement regarding retirement nor has he shared a post about his retirement from any of his social media accounts. The reality is that Rahul is currently busy preparing for the Duleep Trophy 2024, which will be played from 5-22 September. KL Rahul can also be seen playing in the Test series against Bangladesh after that. Rahul was recently seen playing in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, where he scored 31 runs in 2 innings.
