Kho Kho World Cup in Delhi: Kho Kho World Cup is being held for the first time in India, whose brand ambassador has now become Salman Khan. Releasing the video with Salman Khan, Kho Kho Federation of India President Sudhanshu Mittal said, “It is a matter of great pride for us that around 620 players from all over the world are participating in it. Famous actor Salman Khan has become our brand ambassador and he said that I have played this game in my childhood. I am very fond of it, because of which I am ready to become its brand ambassador.”
Sudhanshu Mittal said, “This game related to Indian soil will now be played in India as the World Cup, it is a matter of great pride for us. Boys and girls from twenty-four countries are participating in it. We are confident that India will definitely win this World Cup.”
The event will be held from 13 to 19 January
The game of Kho Kho is centuries old. In this game there are 15 players in each team. It is believed that it started from the time of Mahabharata. From then till now it has never given up its love for its soil and its identity. Kho Kho will be organized at Indira Gandhi International Stadium from 13 January 2025 to 19 January 2025, where various matches will be played. But if anyone is waiting the most, it is for the match played between India and Pakistan.
There will be a tough fight between India and Pakistan
Whenever there is a cricket match between India and Pakistan, there is a fierce competition and a war-like situation is created. This time it has to be seen whether the same kind of enthusiasm and joy is seen in Kho Kho also.
24 countries are participating
Sudhanshu Mittal said, “This game is from our time to all the times, this game is traveling from clay to mat. 24 countries from six continents are participating in it, but you will be surprised to know that more than 34 countries had expressed their desire to participate in it. “Today, Kho Kho is being taught in about 1200 schools in the world and its number is increasing every day.”
