IPL 2025 Mega Auction Italy Player: The wait for the date of mega auction for IPL 2025 is over. The mega auction will be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. BCCI said that a total of 1574 players registered for this year’s mega auction, including one player from Italy. This is the first time in IPL history that an Italian player registered for the mega auction. So let us know who this Italian player is.
The name of the player who registered from Italy is Thomas Draka. He has played four T20 International matches for Italy so far. Apart from this, he participated in the Global T20 Canada League. Thomas played for the Brampton Wolves in the tournament.

Most players from South Africa registered

204 slots will be filled
It is noteworthy that out of 1574 players who registered for the mega auction, 204 slots will be filled i.e. only 204 players will be bought. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see which players’ luck shines in this mega auction. All teams can include a maximum of 25 players in their squad. Teams have a purse value of Rs 120 crore to buy players, out of which teams have also spent money on IPL retention. Now teams will have to buy players with the remaining money only.
