A lucky draw in the name of Indian Post is going viral on social media. Through this draw, an attempt is being made to collect personal information of people by luring them with gifts. It is being claimed in such a post that India Post is giving a gift on the occasion of its 170th anniversary. PIB has alerted people regarding this. PIB Fact Check said that this is a scam and it is not related to India Post.
PIB advised to be cautious
Exposing this lucky draw scam, PIB Fact Check has asked people to avoid clicking on any such link. It is noteworthy that the number of cyber crimes is continuously increasing in the country and fraudsters are making people their victims in different ways.
