In this match, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved to be right. The situation was such that half of the Bangladesh team had returned to the pavilion by the score of 57 runs. Captain Najmul Shanto remained at the crease for a long time, but Washington Sundar caught him out on his own ball.
Mahmudullah’s experience and Jakar Ali’s talent also failed in front of Indian bowling. Meanwhile, Mehdi Hasan, who was returning, kept one end in check.
