INDA vs AUSA 1st Day Report: The first unofficial Test between India A and Australia A is being played in McCoy. On the first day, Australia A captain Nathan McSweene won the toss and decided to bowl. After losing the toss and coming to bat first, India A team was reduced to just 107 runs. India A captain Ruturaj Gaikwad along with batsmen like Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ishan Kishan, Sai Sudarshan and Nitish Kumar Reddy disappointed. Abhimanyu Easwaran was out after scoring 7 runs. While captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was out on zero.

Apart from this, Sai Sudarshan scored 21 runs. While Devdutt Padikal contributed 36 runs. Baba Inderjeet walked out after scoring 9 runs. Whereas, Ishan Kishan returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy failed to open his account. 8 players of India A could not cross double figures. Brandon Doggett was the most successful bowler for Australia A. Brandon Doggett made 6 batsmen his victims giving 15 runs in 11 overs. Apart from this, Jordan Buckingham got 2 successes. While Fergus O’Neill and Todd Murphy took 1-1 wicket.
At the same time, in response to India’s 107 runs, till the end of the first day’s play, Australia A’s score is 99 runs for 4 wickets. Now Australia A team is just 8 runs behind India A on the basis of first innings. At the end of the first day’s play, captain Nathan McSweeney and Cooper Connolly returned not out for Australia A. Nathan McSweeney has scored 29 runs in 110 balls. Whereas Cooper Connolly returned not out after scoring 14 runs in 35 balls. So far, Mukesh Kumar and Prasidh Krishna have taken 2-2 wickets for India A.
