India vs Sri Lanka T20 Series: The first match of the T20 series between India and Sri Lanka will be played on Saturday. For this, Team India players sweated a lot. Head coach Gautam Gambhir was present during the practice session of the Indian team. Along with him, Ryan Ten Doeschate was also seen. Doeschate has recently joined the Indian team. He is an assistant coach and will be very useful for the young players of Team India.
BCCI has made several changes in the coaching staff of Team India. Along with head coach Gambhir, Doshette has also been given a chance. Doshette is a former Netherlands cricketer. His cricket career has been quite good. Interestingly, he has also played in the IPL. Doshette and Gambhir have an old connection. That is why Gambhir suggested his name. Doshette’s presence will help India’s young players in batting as well as bowling.
Doshette has played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He performed very well while being a part of Gambhir’s team. Apart from this, he has a very good relationship with Gambhir. Due to this, Doshette got entry in Team India.
A three-match T20 series will be played between India and Sri Lanka from July 27. After this, a three-match ODI series will be played. Suryakumar Yadav has got the T20 captaincy of India. Surya has less experience in captaincy. But he has been successful so far. Many new faces have also joined Surya’s team. India has given a chance to Rinku Singh and Shivam Dubey. Both of them are talented players and can also show wonders against Sri Lanka.
